WTA Finals debutante Dominika Cibulkova overcame World No.1 Angelique Kerber to clinch the Billie Jean King Trophy, while Makarova/Vesnina claimed a straight-sets win over Mattek-Sands/Safarova to lift the Martina Navratilova Doubles Trophy.
MIRZA CLAIMS THE 2016 WTA YEAR-END NO.1 DOUBLES RANKING
Sania Mirza has secured the 2016 WTA Year-End No.1 Doubles Ranking, presented by Dubai Duty Free after another successful season. The Indian star has held onto the No.1 spot for 81 consecutive weeks and will hold that title for the remainder of the year.
