The private jet company will become the official aviation partner of the series. It is the company’s second recent new sponsorship deal in tennis — NetJets has also signed up Maria Sharapova to promote its jet leasing and sharing programs.
“We are thrilled and honored to be associated with such a prestigious company. This relationship highlights the value of our PowerShares Series brand, and we look forward to exceeding NetJets expectations,” said Jon Venison, InsideOut Sports & Entertainment President, in a statement.
Its title sponsor is QQQ, and other partners include Geico and the USTA.
Andy Roddick, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, James Blake and Mardy Fish are some of the retired players that are schedule to feature on the 12 stops in U.S. cities scheduled for the season.
