Unlike the preceding, this was not expected at all. This costs Anabel Medina Garrigues the chance to clinch a return to the Top Thirty, although it still looks fairly likely.

Heather Watson will remain below #100. She'll get a wildcard into Wimbledon if she needs it, but Roland Garros doesn't appear to be on the calendar.
