Singles - Semifinal: (1) Agnieszka Radwanska def. (8) Kaia Kanepi 7-6(10-8) 6-3
It seems likely that Agnieszka Radwanska will go into Roland Garros on a winning streak -- but she'll have played three straight events, so she will be very tired. And she isn't going to rise above #3 no matter what she does here. She probably can't rise above #3 there, either.
Singles - Semifinal: Simona Halep def. Sofia Arvidsson 6-4 6-3
This takes Simona Halep all the way to #37. Sofia Arvidsson doesn't climb as much, but we'd still call this the best clay result of her career.
Doubles - Semifinal: (3) Rosolska/Zheng def. Bondarenko/Niculescu 6-3 7-6(7-5)
Singles - Semifinal: (2) Francesca Schiavone def. Sloane Stephens 7-5 6-1
This takes Francesca Schiavone back up to #12. But, of course, she loses 1400 points next week when Roland Garros comes off....
Singles - Semifinal: Alize Cornet def. Pauline Parmentier 4-6 6-1 6-3
Alize Cornet is one of those players who has made enough not-quite-comebacks that one hates to predict a real one. But she has had two good results in a row. She is now just below #65.
Doubles - Semifinal: (1) Grandin/Uhlirova def. (4) Babos/Hsieh 0-6 6-2 12-10 (Match TB)
