Djokovic Calls
For Covers On Courts To Shorten Rain Delays
After
major rain interruptions in two of his matches in Toronto, Novak
Djokovic has called for court covers to become standard issue for North
American events which seem particularly susceptible to showers and their
resulting long delays.
"The only thing I can take out from this experience
aside from trying to be calm and save as much energy as I can, is that I
don't see any reason why hard court tournaments don't have covers on
their courts."

post-Olympic injury toll which many had feared is biting hard as the
hard-luck Cincinnati Masters begins, with major names missing at the
final major tune-up prior to the start of the US Open in just over a
fortnight.

two-time champion was forced to withdraw from the Toronto Masters with a
