Date-Krumm Upset With Drunk Fan
Playing
in front of home crowds can very rewarding but also at times difficult
when fans become disappointed or out of hand. That's what Japan's Kimiko
Date-Krumm found out on Monday playing in Tokyo during her 6-1 6-4 loss
to Marion Bartoli.
"I
was told there was a drunk fan," she said. "You're focusing so hard and
it's extremely disappointing when people who are supposed to be
supporting you are drunk and shouting when you hit the ball."
