100th Davis Cup Final To Be Staged In Prague

The ITF announced that the 100th Davis Cup Final will be staged at the O2 Arena in Prague on November.16-18 The 2012 final between Czech Republic and Spain will be played indoors in front of over 13,000 spectators, and marks the start of the ITF’s 2013 centenary celebrations.

 

Federer Is In Shanghai Ready To Play

Roger Federer has made enough of a post-Davis Cup recovery to commit to playing in next week's Shanghai Masters after all. The world No. 1, who is being chased by Novak Djokovic in the ATP rankings, did not play the event in 2011 as he took a break from tennis.

 

 

Australian Open 2013 To Increase Prize Money

The Australian Open is working to head off any suggestion of a player boycott over prize money by announced a payout hike of $4.1 million to bring the total payout for the January fortnight to $31.1 million.

 

Monfils Leaves Tokyo To Consult Paris Doctors

Gael Monfils is back in Paris, ready to consult a series of doctors after a recurrence of a long standing knee injury ruled him out of this week’s Rakuten Japan Open in Tokyo and appears to threaten his career.

 

 

Townsend, Chirico And Andrews Capture Junior Fed Cup For US

The USTA announced that the U.S. Junior Fed Cup team of Taylor Townsend (Stockbridge, Ga.), Louisa Chirico (Harrison, N.Y.) and Gabrielle Andrews (Pomona, Calif.) captured the championship at the Junior Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Final on Sunday in Barcelona, Spain, defeating Russia, 3-0, in the final. This is the second title for the U.S. in the 16-and-under version of Fed Cup, both coming in the last five years.

A professional tennis photographer has been shooting for almost 40 years at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems, daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of all the professionals and some juniors.  The images have all been preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact sheets, as well as digital. There are in excess of 400,000 images and they are for sale. Seller will transfer copyright and will give total usage to the purchaser.
