Murray Feels Good About His Year
Andy
Murray refused to be downcast after failing in his bid to replicate his
Olympic gold medal triumph by again experiencing victory in London at
the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.
But
Murray said: “It was an incredibly positive year but I would have loved
to finish it with a win."
Berdych Loses In London And Immediately Gets Ready For Davis Cup Final
Tomas
Berdych is intent on putting his disappointment at not qualifying for
the knockout stages of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals to one side
and now concentrate on making the Czech Republic the champions of the
Davis Cup for the first time as an independent nation.
Ferrer Loses In London And Prepares For Davis Cup Final In Prague
David
Ferrer has buried his disappointment over failing to reach the World
Tour Finals semis and has headed off to Prague for his last tennis
duties of a long and successful season.
Del Potro Analyzes His Tour Year
Juan
Martin del Potro may have been knocked out of the ATP semifinals by
Novak Djokovic, but the tall Argentine feels like he has made
substantial progress this year and in 2013, he might be able push aside
the members of tennis’ Big 4 at the most important tournaments.
"I'm getting closer every day," said Del Potro. "Maybe that could be my
big challenge for next year, my big goal, trying to fight (for all the
Grand Slams) with this group. You know, they are winning all the Grand
Slams — Novak, Federer, Rafa and now Murray. I would like to be part of
those names in the Grand Slams."
