USTA announced that former Top 30 player Bethanie Mattek-Sands
(Rochester, Minn.), former US Open junior champion Jack Sock (Lincoln,
Neb.) and two-time reigning NCAA singles champion Steve Johnson (Orange,
Calif.) are among the players competing in the 2012 Australian Open Wild
Card Playoffs, held December 14-16, at Life Time Athletic & Tennis at
Peachtree Corners in Norcross, Ga., a certified USTA Regional Training
Center.

Laura Robson has joined compatriot Andy Murray as a household name after
being honored as WTA Newcomer of the Year. The 18-year-old nudged past
compatriot Heather Watson in the balloting among media and other tennis
insiders.

at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems,
daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to
venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of
all the professionals and some juniors. The images have all been
preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color
positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact
sheets, as well as digital. There are in excess of 400,000 images and
