Knowles Has Another Successful Fundraiser
The
recently doubles standout Mark Knowles, who has been coaching Mardy
Fish, had a successful 12th version of his Celebrity Tennis Invitational
at the Atlantis Tennis Center on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
Bumpy Road For Townsend On The Road To Number One
Another
title run for the American team of Taylor Townsend and Gabby Andrews was
tainted by an unruly fan at the Orange Bowl. During their 6-4, 7-5
victory over Mexico’s Victoria Rodriguez and Marcela Zacarias at the
Orange Bowl, a fan was said to loudly heckling Townsend about her
weight.
Wu Ready To Become A Record—Setter In Melbourne
Another
piece of tennis history will be made at next month’s Australian Open
when Di Wu, currently the world’s no.183rd ranked player,
will become the first Chinese male in the Open era to figure in the main
draw of a Grand Slam event.
Stosur Offers Some Tough Love To Tomic
Battling
Australian Samantha Stosur has some tough love for errant compatriot
Bernard Tomic as the youngster continues to head off the rails with what
was once a promising tennis career.
Stosur barely spared Tomic's feeling in her assessment of his situation:
"What are you doing? Are you wanting to play tennis?," she told local
media. "If you are, then give it 100 per cent because you only get one
crack at it."

at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems,
daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to
venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of
all the professionals and some juniors. The images have all been
preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color
positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact
sheets, as well as digital. There are in excess of 400,000 images and
