‘Worldwide
condemnation of Australian Open defending champion Victoria Azarenka’s
ill-timed nine-minute medical timeout caused her to trend globally on
Twitter with countless accusations of gamesmanship. But tournament
director Craig Tiley jumped to the defense of his top seed who faces Li
Na in tomorrow’s final.

Armstrong’s Situation
Andre
Agassi and Lance Armstrong used to sit happily together on the board of
Athletes For Hope, a body designed to inspire, empower, commit to a
better life for those less fortunate by the use of sport. Now Armstrong
stands a disgraced figure after admitting guilt to doping allegations
and Agassi admitted he was as dismayed as anyone to hear the admission
of the multiple Tour de France champion.

Suggests Five-Set Matches Are Too Long
The
man who took five sets and two days - London rain intervened - to win
his career-highlight Wimbledon title a dozen years ago says now that
five sets are too many for today's tennis. Croatian Goran Ivanisevic,
playing in the Legends event at the Australian Open, believes that
tiebreakers are the key to keeping match times under control.

Need Leader to ‘Galvanize Merits of What They are Looking For
Andre
Agassi was never a leader on the ATP Players Council during his 19-year
career, but the eight-time Grand Slam champion was usually outspoken on
the issues. While at the Australian Open to promote Jacob’s Creek wine,
Agassi said that if the current male players want to make headway with
the Grand Slams over prize money that they need to be reasonable and
find someone who can properly communicate their demands.

professional tennis photographer has been shooting for almost 40 years
at all the major and minor tennis tournaments for the wires systems,
daily newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies. He has been to
venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of
all the professionals and some juniors. The images have all been
preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color
positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact
sheets, as well as digital. There are in excess of 400,000 images and
they are for sale. Seller will transfer copyright and will give total

Position: Community Outreach Manager
The Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) is a nationally recognized
tennis facility in College Park, Maryland, that trains national and
international level elite juniors. JTCC also has a growing community
outreach program for underprivileged youth. This is a maturing
experience for JTCC players because they learn to become role-models by
teaching younger children how to play tennis.
Community Outreach Manager (COM) will work closely with the General
Manger and CEO to manage all facets of program.
