Djokovic Feels French Open Pressure Immediately

Only a few hours after winning his fourth Australian Open trophy, Novak Djokovic was already feeling the presence of the French Open, more than just a mirage in the tennis spring. But the No. 1 was working at enjoying his 6-7 (2-7), 7-6, (7-3), 6-3, 6-2 win over Andy Murray which made the Serb the first man in the post-1968 Open era to win three titles in a row in Melbourne.



Vergeer Celebrates 10 Years Undefeated

Dutch wheelchair tennis star Esther Vergeer is celebrating ten years without a defeat on the international wheelchair tennis circuit today. Vergeer, 31 years old from Woerden, has won 470 consecutive matches since she was defeated by Australian Daniele di Toro in Sydney on January 30, 2003.



Injured Stepanek Misses Davis Cup Tie

Radek Stepanek was an heroic figure when Czech Republic won their first Davis Cup title as an independent nation in Prague last November but he will be forced to step out the first step of the team’s defense and his return to tennis is indefinite. 



Tomic Loses His Driver’s License

Little more than a week after Bernard Tomic announced he had realized the error of his ways and maintained he would concentrate of adopting the right lifestyle to help his tennis, the 20 year-old Australian has again been in trouble with the Queensland police. Tomic, dropped from the Australian Davis Cup team that faces Chinese Taipei on disciplinary grounds, was reportedly caught speeding in his yellow Ferrari on Tuesday evening/ He was driving at 78km/h (48 mph) in a 60km/h (37 mph) zone.

He has been to venues all over the world and has compiled tennis images (archives) of all the professionals and some juniors.  The images have all been preserved in a temperature-controlled environment and are color positives (slides), color and black & white negatives and contact sheets, as well as digital. The Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) is a nationally recognized tennis facility in College Park, Maryland, that trains national and international level elite juniors.  JTCC also has a growing community outreach program for underprivileged youth.  This is a maturing experience for JTCC players because they learn to become role-models by teaching younger children how to play tennis.

Community Outreach Manager (COM) will work closely with the General Manger and CEO to manage all facets of program.
