IMG Academy Set To Host FSU, Pepperdine Men’s Match
This
weekend on Sunday, February 24, IMG Academy is set to host No. 28
Florida State and No. 5 Pepperdine at 1 p.m. This marks the first time
the Seminoles are playing a neutral match at the IMG Academy. Matches
are set to be streamed for free online.
“It’s a neutral site, however I like the fact it’s in the state of
Florida,” said FSU head coach Dwayne Hultquist. “We have a lot of
support in the Bradenton, Sarasota and Tampa areas. We have a lot of
former players that live in that area as well. We have a good following
so it’s fun to play a match down there. I’m thrilled to see college
tennis have more TV exposure. With it being live streamed and having
legendary coach Nick Bollettieri commenting on it, I think it should be
a great event.”
