While the tennis focus shifts across the United States from Indian Wells to Miami for the Sony Open, Rafael Nadal has set his sights on the familiar terracotta shade of the European clay courts as he rests his knees for a few weeks before beginning another campaign he hopes will again underline his dominance of the surface.

Roger Federer's plan for a brief holiday followed by an intensive training block at home in Switzerland appears to be on track despite a quarter-final loss at the Indian Wells Masters. The world No. 2 confirmed that he will stick with his program even if it means being away from the ATP for almost two months.

Andy Murray is ready for a fresh start at the Miami Masters as the No. 3 tries to make inroads in the rankings against Roger Federer. The Scot's quarter-final loss to Juan Del Potro in Indian Wells assured that Federer will remain second in the world for the next few weeks.

 

Williams Claims She Is Ready For Miami

Serena Williams, who pulled out of the Dubai Duty Free Championships citing a back injury and continued her 11 years boycott of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, insists she is motivated to return to action for Miami’s Sony Open.

The USPTA is seeking a Director of Marketing who will play an important role in expanding the organization’s brand identity.  They will seek opportunities for endorsements and ad sales.

The Director will also have an integral role in planning and coordinating the association’s annual convention, be responsible for organizing and promoting the trade show and securing endorsements and exhibitors.
