Connors’ New Autobiography Certain To Be A Stunner

The Outsider, the soon to be released auto-biography of Jimmy Connors, has been billed as “the complete, uncensored story of his life and career.”  If brief excerpts from the book this week printed in the New York Daily News, are anything to go by it could send shockwaves across the tennis world with the revelation his one-time fiancée Chris Evert became pregnant at the age of 19 and decided to have an abortion.

 

What Happened To Sharapova’s New Porsche?

With perhaps a Porsche 911 Carrera 4s to spare after winning the WTA Stuttgart title for the past two years, an early birthday gift from Maria Sharapova to boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov may be the reason for the sleek blue machine now reportedly parked in his Paris garage.

 

Fish Is Not Retiring: He’s Just Waiting For The Grass Season

Despite his lack of match play due to lingering fears over his 2012 heart scare incidents, Mardy Fish has said he has no plans to retire from tennis. The 31-year-old told Sports Illustrated that he plans to carry on after skipping the clay season as he previously announced.

 

 

World Tennis With Harry Cicma To Return

"World Tennis with Harry Cicma" will return for a fifth season nationally on New England Sports Network with 18 shows beginning May 31.

 

 

Nalbandian To Skip Queen’s This Year 

David Nalbandian caused one of the most controversial moments in tennis last year when he was defaulted from the final of the AEGON Championships at London’s Queens Club. He vented his anger by kicking an advertising board and which injured  a line judge who was left with blood pouring down his leg. Now the veteran Argentine has opted against requesting a place amongst the list of wild cards for this year’s event.
