Henman, the Scot’s predecessor as national tennis hero insists Murray
has done the right thing by erring on the side of caution and pulling
out of the French Open because of lower back issues.

John Tomic banned from even entering the gates at Roland Garros, his son
and Australia’s leading male player Bernard will still take his place in
the French Open’s 128-strong main draw and according to Tennis
Australia’s Head of Men’s Tennis, Todd Woodbridge just one win could be
the perfect therapy.


Rusedski Doubts Murray Can Reach Number One" width="100" height="71" align="left" hspace="5">Former
player and British television commentator Greg Rusedski fears for Andy
Murray's dream of reaching the No. 1 ranking after the Scot made his
dramatic injury withdrawal from the French Open. Murray pulled out four
days before the start of the Paris Grand Slam with back pain which has
bothered him seriously in recent days.



Del Potro Withdraws From Paris" width="65" height="100" align="left" hspace="5">Argentine
Juan Del Potro joined Andy Murray as a French Open absentee with the
South American number seven withdrawing after suffering with a virus for
several weeks. But there is good news for Madrid finalist Stanislas
Wawrinka, who has received the medical OK to play in Paris after getting
treatment on a right thigh injury which forced him to with draw before a
Rome second-round match last week.
