Federer Wins Tour Match With New Racquet

A few teething troubles couldn't stop Roger Federer from completing the summer upgrade of his gear as the Swiss won his opening match at Hamburg playing with a new Wilson racquet. The new frame features a 98-inch head as opposed to the 90 he has played with since the start of his world-beating career.

 

Top 102 Men Sign Up For US Open

The USTA announced that each of the world’s top 102 men received direct entry into the US Open, representing 37 countries.

 

Wozniacki Blamed For McIlroy Recent Record

Caroline Wozniacki has plenty to deal with on her own plate right now with Yonex ripping up her racket contract, Thomas Hogstedt distancing himself from any coaching liaison and disappointing results at the French Open and Wimbledon to overcome. But now two of the biggest names in golf have pointed accusing fingers at the Danish former world no.1, saying she has distracted boyfriend Rory McIlroy.

 

Murray Is Taking A Break In The Bahamas

Andy Murray will hopefully be wearing plenty of sunscreen as he exposes his powerful - but pasty - body to the strong sun of the Bahamas during a post-Wimbledon holiday with girlfriend Kim Sears in the Bahamas.

The USTA/Midwest Section has an opening for the Digital Media Coordinator position. This is a fulltime position. The Digital Media Coordinator will lead all organizational efforts concerning social media. The position is responsible for all website administration including, but not limited to design, content development, and traffic analysis. This position will collaborate and work closely with other departments and committees to launch efforts that drive awareness of USTA programs and services, while increasing membership and participation.
