Tennis Channel is adding to its French Open broadcast, picking up extra matches and showing more courts online.

Up to 80 percent of the Grand Slam event will now be shown on the network, with NBC picking up the rest. Additions to the broadcast include a men’s and women’s semifinal, all singles quarterfinals, and the mixed doubles final.

“Tennis Channel’s partnership with Roland Garros, our first major, has evolved to the point where this year we’ll be the streamlined on-air and online place to find the bulk of the competition,” said president Ken Solomon, in a statement. “This is a significant initiative for our network: this year’s Paris coverage will offer more live hours, nightly replays and a schedule with complete 24-hour coverage on majority of the fortnight.”

The tournament has seven televised courts. More than 360 hours will also be offered on Tennis Channel Plus, the channel’s online subscription version.

The Tennis Channel was purchased by the Sinclair Group for $350 million.
